Improver Series (1, 2, 3 & 4)

Four classes of 1hr 30minutes each with 30 minutes practice after each.

Our Improver Lessons are for skiers who have completed a Beginner Series or who have some limited ski experience (one week on snow).

In this Series our aim is to build on your newly acquired skills and prepare you for more advanced skiing challenges. Skiers at this level will be able to use Button Ski Lifts and ski in a controlled manner with linked snowplough turns.

The emphasis is on a lot of movement (plenty of skiing) and confidence building activities and techniques. Our instructors will help you to refine and link your turns, and prepare you for more challenging skiing.

These classes will mainly take place on our intermediate slope. As with our Beginner Series we recommend that you take a full series of classes to attain the maximum benefit and achieve the best value.

Intermediate Classes (C1 & C2)

Two classes of 1hr 30minutes each with 30 minutes practice after each.

If  you have a little more experience and confidence our Intermediate Classes/Clinics are intended for you.

These classes take you on the progression from confident plough turning to early parallel skiing and on to slightly steeper terrain.  The classes will have an emphasis on developing the posture and technique required to allow you to develop into an advanced confident skier.

These classes are tailored as much as possible to the ability of those attending and are taken on the main slope. These classes help the skier acquire the proper skills to permit unhindered development into Advanced Skiing.

We run these classes on a continuous basis so you can just drop in and join at a time that suits you and as often as you feel is useful.

These classes are mainly suitable for people who have had a couple of weeks on snow with tuition.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A MEMBER to use our facilities but if you intend to ski/snowboard regularly there are considerable benefits as detailed on our Membership page.

We provide skis/snowboards, boots and poles for classes and practice sessions at NO extra cost.
